Community Clean Energy Coalition Prize — Phase One

Challenge to Tackle: The Southwest Virginia Partnership for Energy Workforce Development coalition believes that by developing a regional growth cluster supporting workforce development for innovative and clean energy technologies via education and job training programs, the Commonwealth of Virginia can strategically position itself as a global leader in clean energy while also spurring a long-overdue transition and diversification of southwestern Virginia’s regional economy and its workforce.
